wildlife photography. The newly developed compact SWM (Silent Wave
Motor) has given rise to an ultracompact, lightweight design with excellent
handling characteristics. Including the new compact SWM, the AF-S DX
Zoom-Nikkor 55-200mm f/4-5.6G ED measures a compact +68 x 79mm
(2.7 x 3.1 in.) and weighs approximately 255g (9 oz.).
