The Cactus V2s Receiver comes with Test batteries only. Used for triggering an additional flash with your existing V2s Radio Transmitter or V2s Trigger set. Please note that the test batteries contain very little charge so you may want to consider getting the V2s Receiver with Varta battery. Note that this unit is identical to the Receiver that comes with the V2s Trigger set. The receiver fits on to the foot of most modern shoe mount flashes***Read below for related warnings and compatibility! Either via the Receiver shoemount or by the provided Female PC Syncro port (additional cord needed, consult your flash manual.)

This product is NOT recommended for use by professionals as it has limited range and reliability. Consider purchasing a more reliable unit if your job requires it. (Look at Elinchrom Skyport, or Pocket Wizard.)

CAUTION :

Beware not to work via the hot shoe with high voltage flashes or studio strobes with a triggering voltage of 12V or higher.

Since the new version runs on different channels, it can only work with V2/V2s receivers and not any previous versions.

CACTUS  Wireless Flash Receiver V2s is different from other wireless trigger available in that it is both CE and FCC** accredited.  It has clear screen-printed FCC marking on both the transmitter and receiver.  A user manual complies with FCC regulations is also included in the trigger set.
